Je Nederlandse basisverzekering eindigt bij uitschrijving

De basisverzekering stopt op de dag dat je je uitschrijft — en je verdragsdekking of polis begint pas als de aanmelding in Turkije rond is.

Tussen die twee momenten zit een gat van weken: de CAK-aanmelding, het verdragsformulier en de SGK-inschrijving hebben elk hun doorlooptijd. Overbrug het met een verzekering die je vóór vertrek regelt, en laat de einddatum van je Nederlandse polis er naadloos op aansluiten.

Bij Turkije zit het verschil in de details van artikel 18: je bedrijfspensioen gaat exclusief naar Turkije (dat het vrijstelt), je AOW blijft bij Nederland — en de vrijstelling loonheffing geldt voor het eerste, niet voor het tweede. Dat samenspel, plus de Turkse aangiftekant, is het werk van een fiscalist die beide landen kent. Neem deze lijst mee naar dat gesprek: dan weet je welke vragen je moet stellen.
