How it works

Enter your details once
Name, address, departure date and where you're going. If you're writing together, every letter uses 'we'.

Add who gets a letter
Insurer, landlord, energy, school, bank. For your employer and your rent you pick the notice period from your contract: one, two or three months.

Print, email and tick off
Each letter as a PDF or as text for an email, and a sending list in order of what has to go first.
16 kinds of letters — and what's in them that you'd forget yourself
- Car insurance: cancel and ask for your no-claims years, in English. Without that statement a foreign insurer starts you at zero.
- GP and dentist: deregister and get a copy of your file, citing the legal articles that entitle you to it.
- Employer and rent: with your own notice period. With three months and a last day of 31 March, the letter has to be in before 1 January — the sending list works that out for you.
- Health insurance: end it on the right date, asking for any overpaid premium back.
- Bank and pension fund: change address and country of residence, and ask in writing whether your account can stay.
- School and childcare: deregister, with the school report for the new school.
- And also: energy, water, internet, subscriptions, other insurance and charities — plus the list of what doesn't go by letter but online.

Your details stay on your own device
The letters are made in your own browser. Names, addresses and policy numbers never reach our server, and we don't ask for a BSN or a bank account number: where an organisation wants one, the letter has a blank line.
Good to know
- Are these legal documents?
- They're carefully drafted letters with the right legal articles and notice periods, not legal advice. Check your own contract for a different notice period.
- Can I still change the text?
- Yes. Copy the letter as text and edit it in your email or word processor. Most people don't need to.
- What language are the letters in?
- Dutch: the organisations receiving them are Dutch. The screen itself is also available in English.
- How do I get in?
- After you pay you get an email. Logging in works without a password, with a link sent to your address.
