De basisverzekering stopt op de dag dat je je uitschrijft — en je nieuwe polis begint pas als de acceptatie rond is.

Bij Panama komt daar de leeftijdsfuik bij: wie de verzekeringsvraag uitstelt tot na de verhuizing, kan te oud geworden zijn voor de polis die het plan dragend moest maken. Eerst dekking, dan pas onomkeerbare stappen — en een overbruggingspolis voor het gat tussen de Nederlandse einddatum en de eerste verzekerde dag.
